Thermal Conductivity of Metal Rod

This apparatus is used to calculate the thermal conductivity of metal rod (Copper).

i. Test rod of copper of 25mm dia. and 300mm long.
ii. Band heater
iii. Cooling chamber of dia 100mm and 75mm long with arrangement for water circulation
iv. Shell filled with asbestos insulating powder
v. Set of thermocouples - 6 Nos.

i. 6 Channel Digital Temp. Indicator range: 0-300oC
ii. Dimmerstat : 0-2A / 230V
iii. Mains ON/OFF switch
iv. Digital Watt meter
