Parallel Flow/Counter Flow Heat Exchanger

The apparatus is used to calculate heat transfer rate and LMTD in parallel & counter flow.

i. Outer tube of inter I.D. 28mm and length 1.5metre.
ii. Inner tube of I.D. 9.5mm and length 1.5metr.
iii. Thermocouples - 5 Nos.
iv. Arrangement for making parallel and counter flow.

i. M.S. storage tank of 50 lit. capacity.
ii. Electric industrial heater of 2 KW.
iii. Centrifugal pump of 1/2 HP for circulation of hot water
iv. Thermostat to keep the constant temperature in the tank.

i. 5 Channel Digital Temp. Indicator range: 0-200oC
ii. Main switch, sockets etc. will be provided.
v. Knob to adjust the temperature of thermostat.
