Gear pumps are positive displacement Pumps. This unit is a self-contained recirculation type unit. All the measurements are provided to evaluate the performance of the pump.

 Gear pump coupled to 1 H.P. D.C. motor (2800 RPM) to change the speed of motor.
 Sump tank of size 35 x 30 x 30cm.
 Discharge measurement tank of size 35x20x30cm.
 Pressure Gauge for measurement discharge head.
 Vacuum Gauge for measurement suction head.
 Control Valve to control discharge.

 Energy meter to calculate input power
 Digital Voltmeter and Digital Ammeter
 Potentiometer to change RPM
 RPM measurement through proximity Indicator.

 To determine the efficiency of pump.
